Back to Fish Creek Park for this one. I found this giant ant hill covered in these red headed ants. So I tried to capture the crazy mass, and here it is.

Speeding Fish

Today's photo is from my time spent snorkeling and diving The Great Barrier Reef. I managed to catch this shot of a fish speeding away. I think it turned out quite well.

Pears

This photo is from my time fruit picking in Australia. I spent all day filling up these huge barrels with pears. It took ages and this is what I felt like I was looking at all day long!

Hungry Hawk

I was cycling home from work one day a few years ago, and I saw this hawk flying overhead. I stopped to try get a photo. While I was fumbling for my camera, the hawk suddenly fell from the sky and landed on a gopher. After a very brief struggle, the hawk stood and began to eat. It seemed quite content to continue as I crawled closer to within 4 feet of him, which allowed me to get this awesome close up.

The Goose of Inglewood

Yesterday, I went to Inglewood Bird Sanctuary. It's silly that it took me that long to go there as it only a 5 minute walk from where I'm living. Here is a photo of a proud looking Canadian Goose.

Okanagan Views

I love the Okanagan. I love the views, the wine, and the sunshine. This photo is from one of my trips there. Unfortunately I don't remember which winery this was taken at. Still, its a nice shot.

Today I went to Fish Creek Park (Alberta). It was such a beautiful day, I spent over 2 hours there taking photos. This is one of the shots I got.
