"Bailarines De Vallarta" or "Vallarta Dancers' is a sculpture by Jim Demetro (2006). Its located along the Promenade in Puerto Vallarta. I took several shots of this sculpture from different angles, but I think this one turned out the best.

Fire Dance - Part 1

One of the coolest things I saw on my trip to Mexico was this Fire Dance Show. I had a lot of fun experimenting with the shutter speed on my camera. This is the first of 3 sets of photos that I will post. Part 2 will follow next week.

Island of Lights

There is an article in one of my photography magazine about 'painting with lights' so I thought I would give it a try. I just put my camera on the floor facing up, set it to bulb mode,  and drew pictures with various lights while the shutter is open. It took a lot of practice, but I started to get the hang of it.

This model of a sinking Library is in Melbourne. I took several shots of this during my time in Australia...This is my favorite one.

Dreaming of Colour

I have been wanting to post some shots of people for a while, but I struggle to get shots that I am happy with. I took some photos of Kristin earlier this month and played around in Photoshop with them. Here is my favorite one.

Dandelion Burst

I have been doing a little bit more playing with Photoshop. I added a blur effect to this shot of a Dandelion.

Warhol Daisies

I have been reading more of my Photoshop Magazines recently. So I thought I would give one of the effects a go. I took this photo of a Daisy at the bird sanctuary at the weekend.

Bottled Ship

Here is another photo from my last visit to England. I went passed it on a bus tour in London. Not sure why there was a ship inside a giant bottle, but there was.

Love of The Beach

I have been experimenting with some of the effects that Photoshop has to offer. This is a heart made out of dried sand that I made on a beach in Australia. I added a radial blur effect to it which I thought looked really cool and helps to focus your attention on the heart.

Empty Jungle

I have to say...I felt a little creepy hanging around a playground with a camera! But there were no kids so I think its OK. I tried one of Adobe Photoshops many effects on this shot...I think it looks kind of cool.

Mountainous Reflections

I thought I would post another one of my Photoshop experiments today. This is the same idea as the last one with the reflection in that water, only this time with a mountain landscape.

Calgary Reflections

I read an article in one of my photography magazines about adding reflections to your photos so I thought I would spend a little time in Photoshop and give it a try...this is the result.
