A New Log on The Fire

This is another one of the campfire shots I took on one of my trips to BC this year. It took several attempts to get this shot timed just right to get all the sparks just as a log was thrown onto the fire.

Fairmont Sunset

Back from another weekend golfing in BC. I took this shot from right outside the Fairmont Hot Springs.

Watercolours

I love the way the sunlight looks as it shines through the water onto the rocks below. This is another shot from my last trip to BC.

Out of Focus - Moose

I really like this shot, even though it was an accident. Obviously I was trying to focus on the moose, but I like that it's focused of the plants in front.

Blinded By The Light

This beautiful shot was taken on may way out to BC earlier this year. It almost doesn't look real...but it was!

Osprey Hunting

There is a nest of Ospreys near the lake that I visited in BC. This one spent a a while hovering over the lake looking for fish. I wish I had a better zoom so that I could have got a closer shot.

Cloudy Mountain

Back from BC! Had an awesome weekend of sunshine and golfing. This is a shot of one of the mountain views from the golf course I was on.

Dragons on the Fly

There were hundreds of these little guys flying around BC last weekend. But not many of them stayed still long enough for me to get a decent shot. Here is one that did though.

This photo was taken at Columbia Lake, BC. Its a simple shot, but I think it looks kind of neat.

Canadian Paradise

This shot I took on the drive out to BC last week. It was taken about an hour before sunset. I drove out between a pass that was cut into the mountain and this was the view!

Coys Driving Range

Some of you may have noticed that I haven't posted anything new since Thursday...This is because I was learning to golf in BC. Here is a shot I took from the driving range at Coys Golf Course.

Landing Seaplane

This was taken the in Vancouver, the first time that I ever saw a seaplane in real life. I had only seen them in movies before.

Vancouver Sunset

I'm surprised how well this shot turned out considering it was taken out of a moving vehicle on my first trip through Vancouver. I believe that the land mass in the distance is Vancouver Island.

Ghost Jellies

This is another cheat shot of some more jellyfish from the Vancouver Aquarium.

This awesome crab water feature was outside one of the museums that I visited on my first trip to Vancouver.

Great Blue Heron

On my last trip to Vancouver, I went for a walk down to a hidden nudist beach. The weather was a little cold for any nudists, so it was nice and quite and I managed to get a few nice shots of some of the bird life there.

Grapes on the Vine

Big Juicy Grapes from the Okanagan! Just thing of the Delicious wine that these will make!

Sunburst Jellyfish

This is another cheat shot in that it was taken at Vancouver Aquarium. However, I love the bright orange colour of the jellyfish so I thought I would post it anyway.
