Calgary Traffic

This is another shot from my night drive. I have been wanting to try a long exposure shot to capture the lights of cars as they go past for a while. I found this nice spot with the cityscape in the background. I managed to time this shot just as the C-Train came past to add extra colour to some of the lights.

Langevin Bridge Lights

Chelsey I have been trying to find time to go for a night time drive around the city to get a few shots and to give me a chance to play with more of the settings on my new camera. I finally got the chance to sneak out for an hour this evening (unfortunately, without Chelsey). This is Langevin Bridge in Downtown Calgary.

Autumn Duck

Today I went to the Digital Photo Expo with Chelsey from Wishing Star Gallery. After a few hours lusting over camera equipment that we couldn't afford, we went for a photo walk around a local park. This is one of the shots that I took. I really like the colours that are reflected in the water.

White Moth

I am really impressed with the macro setting on my camera for this shot. I really like that you can see it's eye, and even individual hairs!

Calgary Rock

I found this random rock overlooking the city on one of my cycle rides. Of course I couldn't resist stopping to take a few shots.

Rail Bridge Canal

This shot was taken along a cycle path that runs along a canal. There are several interesting rail bridges that cross it.

Dreaming of Colour

I have been wanting to post some shots of people for a while, but I struggle to get shots that I am happy with. I took some photos of Kristin earlier this month and played around in Photoshop with them. Here is my favorite one.
