A "Horrible" Halloween

I LOVE MY NEW CAMERA!!! I went to a Halloween/Birthday party last night, and couldn't resist taking my camera to try take a few shots of everyone in their costumes. This is my favorite shot of the night...My best friends in the whole world, Holly and Jules.

My First DSLR

Today I picked up my first SLR Camera! The Canon 60D with an EF-S 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 IS lens. I am so excited to try it out. Watch this space for the my first shots.

A New Log on The Fire

This is another one of the campfire shots I took on one of my trips to BC this year. It took several attempts to get this shot timed just right to get all the sparks just as a log was thrown onto the fire.

Wasp!

I was going for a drive a few weeks ago and this wasp landed on my windshield just as I was pulling out of the back ally. I just had to stop to take a few shots of this wasp from this unusual angle.

Ogden Federal Grain Elevator Demolition

The Ogden Federal Grain Elevator was built in 1914. I was one of the hundred or so people who got up early on Sunday morning to watch the demolition of this historic landmark.
